Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Developer to design and build cloud-native, Java-based microservices with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, Kubernetes, and GraphQL. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and DevOps to deliver secure, scalable enterprise solutions.

You will leverage AI-assisted development tools like Microsoft GitHub Copilot and explore LLM concepts to boost productivity and code quality, while implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and observability.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of enterprise application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on design and deployment of microservices-based apps.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, API Gateway, and GraphQL.
• Practical experience with GitHub Copilot, prompt engineering, or LLM-based dev concepts.
• Experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and PL/SQL development.
• Experience with JavaScript development and frontend-backend integrations.
• Understanding of software architecture, secure coding, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
