Veltris is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our enterprise-scale application team. The role requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, SQL, AWS, Git, and CI/CD.

You will design, build, and maintain scalable services, work across teams, and contribute to code quality and best practices. Remote work with UK-style timing options will suit candidates comfortable with distributed collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, AWS, Git and CI/CD.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, QA, product owners and stakeholders.
• Deliver assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding productivity, debugging, documentation, testing, and overall engineering efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and best practices.
• Take ownership of deliverables and proactively communicate progress, risks, and dependencies.
