Job summary

DivIHN Integration Inc is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a remote, 6-month engagement. The role focuses on web-based USPS environment applications, applying Spring Boot practices and DevSecOps delivery using Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD, with Flyway for database changes.

You will design and implement Java web apps, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and security checks, while coordinating with security, operations, and architecture teams.

Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on Java development experience in a web-based environment.
• Proven experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL relational databases.
• Experience with Flyway for database migrations.
• CI/CD experience using Jenkins and/or GitLab.
• DevSecOps practices and secure coding in pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java web applications using Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs (and SOAP where needed).
• Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab.
• Implement automated testing and quality gates; secure coding practices.
• Integrate security checks (SAST/DAST) into pipelines.
• Manage database versioning with Flyway; migrations and rollback planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues; perform root-cause analysis; optimize performance.
• Support integrations (including COTS) and coordinate with security/ops/architecture.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain coding standards.
• Identify opportunities to add AI features while meeting governance.
