Job summary

Eliassen Group is recruiting a Java Developer for a remote, contract role. The position focuses on Java and Java EE application development across the full SDLC, from concept to testing. Rate is $100.00–$110.00/hr W2. The role requires strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, microservices, AWS deployment, and related technologies.

Qualifications

10+ years of Java and Spring Boot hands-on development experience.
Understanding of cloud and event-driven architecture, microservices, and DDD architectural style.
Hands-on experience deploying applications into AWS.

Responsibilities

Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
Design and develop user interfaces for internet and intranet applications by setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development lifecycle.
Determine design methodologies and tool sets and complete programming using appropriate languages and software products.
Design and conduct tests.
Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
