Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Dallas seeks an experienced Java Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will troubleshoot production issues in a fast-paced environment and own incidents from identification through resolution.

You will support RESTful APIs, tune performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software. This role emphasizes ownership, documentation, and RCA-driven fixes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience supporting RESTful APIs and distributed applications.
• Understanding of JVM internals, GC, threading, and performance tuning.
• SQL experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• SQL skills for troubleshooting, debugging, and data analysis.
• Experience in Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.
• Experience with Kafka, JMS, or MQ messaging.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Ticketing: ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy.
• Root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Ownership of production incidents and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate major incidents in a fast-paced environment.
• Support and maintain RESTful services and distributed applications.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks in complex systems.
• Prepare technical documentation and incident handover materials.
• Lead RCA efforts and implement durable fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability.
