Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking a Senior Java Developer for onsite work in Westlake Village, CA. The contract role focuses on building enterprise-grade applications using Java 21 and Spring 6, with emphasis on scalable APIs and robust back-end services.

You will collaborate with UI/UX, product managers, and architects, write clean code, participate in reviews, testing, and performance tuning, and stay current with cloud and web development trends.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 21 features and modern Java development practices.
• Deep understanding of Spring Framework 6, including Spring Boot
• Spring Security
• Spring Data
• Related Spring technologies
• Experience developing modern web applications using Angular (version 12 or higher preferred).
• Proficiency in Node.js for server-side application development.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of Git
• CI/CD pipelines
• DevOps practices
• Excellent communication, teamwork, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java 21 and Spring 6.
• Build dynamic front-end interfaces using Angular.
• Create and manage back-end services and APIs using Node.js and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, architects, and backend developers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning activities.
• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the full technology stack.
• Stay current with emerging trends in Java, JavaScript, cloud, and web development technologies.
