Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Java Developer to build Web and backend applications for a credentialing/case management system using Java/Spring-based REST APIs in a CI environment. You will join our team of developers building the next generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies.

Join our high-performing team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This role plays a vital part in developing and sustaining a mission-critical, large-scale Java application

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of IT experience, or associate's degree and 7 years' experience, or high school diploma/equivalent and 9 years' experience.
• US Citizenship required
• Must have an Active Secret clearance to be considered
• 5 years of recent demonstrable experience developing and implementing software solutions to build enterprise applications using: React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring Boot
• 2+ years of experience with Eclipse and Git/GITLAB

Responsibilities

• Support full life-cycle development of a large enterprise Java applications.
• Develop, enhance, and support a high-availability, enterprise-scale Java applications.
• Perform data analysis and develop logic for integrating and reconciling complex data sources.
• Design and implement clean, responsive user interfaces and work-flows.
• Support mobile application development and ensure modern, scalable code standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and develop best practices.
• Design and implement modern, intuitive user interfaces and data reporting tools.
• Analyze, reconcile, and consolidate multi-source data.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with continuous integration pipelines.
• Contribute to mobile application development and cross-functional team goals.
