Job summary

Peraton seeks a Java Developer to build Web and backend services for a credentialing system using Java/Spring REST APIs in a CI/CD environment. The role supports federal DHS projects with a focus on secure, scalable enterprise applications.

Hybrid role with on-site Columbia, MD required at least three days per week; candidates should be US citizens with an active Secret clearance and strong React/Java/Spring skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ IT experience, or equivalent combination.
• US Citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• 5 years of experience with React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Support full life-cycle development of large enterprise Java applications.
• Develop, enhance, and support high-availability web and backend services.
• Analyze data and implement integration across multiple sources.
• Design responsive UI and workflows, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
