Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Java Developer to build Web and backend applications for a credentialing/case management system using Java/Spring REST APIs and a Web 2.0 framework in a CI/CD environment. The role supports DHS initiatives and requires strong Java development experience.

The position is hybrid with on-site presence in Colorado Springs, CO, requiring up to three to five days on-site per week depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience required.
• US Citizenship required and active Secret clearance preferred.
• 5+ years of experience building enterprise Java applications using React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring Boot, JSP.

Responsibilities

• Support full life-cycle development of a large enterprise Java applications.
• Develop, enhance, and support high-availability enterprise-scale Java applications.
• Perform data analysis and develop logic for integrating multiple data sources.
• Design responsive user interfaces and workflows.
• Support mobile application development and ensure scalable code standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
• Design intuitive user interfaces and data reporting tools.
• Analyze, reconcile, and consolidate multi-source data.
• Work in an Agile environment with CI pipelines.
• Contribute to mobile app development and cross-functional team goals.
