About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with deep experience in building low-latency trading systems for U.S. Treasuries. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-performance environments, understands the nuances of fixed income markets, and has hands-on experience with real-time trading platforms and protocols.

Kay Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain low-latency trading applications for U.S. Treasuries and Futures markets.
• Integrate with major electronic trading venues (e.g., Tradeweb, Bloomberg, Dealerweb, Fenics, BTEC).
• Implement efficient messaging solutions using AMPS or similar high-performance messaging platforms.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and product teams to build reliable and scalable pricing and trading solutions.
• Optimize Java code for multithreaded, high-throughput environments.
• Build and support order book and execution logic using Level 1, 2, and 3 data.
• Develop and maintain interfaces for order, trade, and fill management.
• Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure resilient deployment and testing practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in core Java development, with a focus on low-latency and multithreaded applications.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with FIX protocol.
• Expertise in KDB for time-series data analysis and real-time querying.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Treasuries market structure and trading workflows.
• Familiarity with venue-specific protocols and APIs (e.g., Tradeweb, Bloomberg, BTEC).
• Experience building and maintaining systems on the sell-side or buy-side in the Rates space.
• Solid grasp of order books (L1–L3) and trade lifecycle concepts (Orders, Fastfills, Trades).
• Hands-on experience with bond pricing methodologies and yield calculations.
• Experience with AMPS or similar high-performance messaging systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating with market data feeds and market-making systems.
• Knowledge of algorithmic trading strategies and execution engines.
• Background in financial engineering or quantitative development is a plus.
