JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III in its Fraud Prevention Technology group. You will design and deliver trusted, scalable technology products within an agile team, focusing on secure production code and robust software solutions.

You will work with core Java and AWS, applying AI-assisted development tools while ensuring security, performance, and reliability across large enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years of experience.
• Hands-on system design, application development, testing, and operational stability with Java and AWS.
• Experience debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Java and SQL in AWS.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with evaluation and secure coding.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling in engineering workflows.
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile practices, including CI/CD and security.

• Executes software solutions and development tasks with non-routine problem solving.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains relevant algorithms.
• Uses AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value delivery.

• Gathers and analyzes data to visualize insights for system improvements.
