Jobgether is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based services using Spring Boot and AWS. You will implement REST APIs, contribute to microservice architectures, and ensure quality through tests and CI/CD practices.

Qualificações

• Backend development in Java (preferably Java 21+)
• Strong Spring ecosystem experience (Boot, Data, Security)
• Experience designing microservices and REST APIs
• Hands-on with AWS services (SQS, S3, Lambda, ECS, API Gateway)
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with unit and integration tests and code quality tools
• Solid understanding of SOLID, Clean Code, and architecture best practices
• Experience with Git, source control, and CI/CD
• Linux familiarity and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Accountabilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services.
• Participate in technical refinement sessions, requirements analysis, and solution design in collaboration with Product and Technology teams.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices, ensuring application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, Clean Code, and sound architectural design.
• Implement unit and integration tests to improve software quality and the reliability of releases.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents by analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
• Support deployment processes, release management, and environment improvements in collaboration with infrastructure and support teams.
• Work closely with QA and other squad members to identify technical risks, improve delivery quality, and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to technical discussions and recommend solutions that balance business needs, maintainability, and scalability.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience in backend development using Java, preferable Java 21 or later.
• Strong experience with the Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures and REST APIs.
• Practical experience with AWS services such as SQS, S3, Lambda, ECS, or API Gateway.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including technologies such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and using code quality analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and software architecture best practices.
• Experience with Git, source control, and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the autonomy to investigate technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical decisions.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS Cognito and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with Docker and application containerization.
• Previous experience as a technical reference, supporting architectural decisions and team development.
