Job summary

Tomorrow Hire Llc. seeks a Senior Java Developer with AI and LLM expertise to design, develop, and support enterprise software using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Generative AI. The role focuses on scalable microservices and integrating LLM components in enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will guide architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to DevOps practices. On-site in Woodlawn, MD, five days per week; in-person interviews required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Generative AI, and LLMs.
• Advanced degree requirements with relevant years of experience.
• Strong design and programming in Java and JEE technologies.
• Experience with Agile projects and tooling.
• High-throughput, low-latency Java systems design.
• Experience deploying and supporting LLM/AI in enterprise apps.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Git, CI/CD tools.
• Cloud-native AWS deployments and Java microservices design.
• Experience with modern CI/CD and code quality tools.
• Unit testing and TDD/BDD using Java frameworks.
• JEE tech stack including Spring, SOAP/REST, Tomcat/WebSphere.
• Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and remediation.
• Must obtain Public Trust and be on-site in Woodlawn, MD.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Twelve-Factor App principles.
• Build enterprise apps with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Collaborate to understand business and technical needs.
• Develop and maintain microservices with RESTful architecture.
• Create SOAP web services using JAX-WS and WSDL.
• Apply CI/CD with Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Work with cloud platforms and containerization tech.
• Engage with analysts, QA, PMs, and stakeholders.
• Write comprehensive Java unit tests with JUnit/Mockito/PowerMock.
• Participate in architecture reviews and design sessions.
• Suggest improvements to architecture and development processes.
• Provide guidance to junior/mid developers and stay current with tech.
• Maintain ongoing learning and training on emerging tech.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
