Job summary

Mariforce Crewing seeks an experienced Senior Software Developer to join the Woodlawn, MD team onsite. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications and RESTful services, focusing on scalable microservices and AI-enabled components.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot in enterprise software
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining service-oriented applications and APIs
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools

Responsibilities

Design and develop software applications using Twelve-Factor App methodology
Design and develop applications using Java, REST API and Spring Boot
Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to understand needs
Design and develop Microservices using Spring Boot, Java and RESTful architecture
Develop SOAP Web Services using JAX-WS, Axis, and WSDL
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay updated with emerging tech
Develop unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock
Attend customer technical discussions and provide viable solutions
Provide guidance to junior/mid-level developers
All other duties as assigned
