Capco, a leading management consulting and software development firm, seeks an experienced Java Developer to build a large-scale financial technology platform that processes international securities. You will work with a global team on high-performance backend systems and RESTful services, contributing to the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience with Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React is a significant advantage, especially if you enjoy backend/frontend work.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and building scalable apps.
• Good SQL skills and experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server or Sybase).

• The minimum gross monthly base salary for this position is from € 3,300. The final offer could be higher to reflect the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role. Role Description

Are you an experienced Java Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building applications that make a real impact? Join our team and help develop a large-scale financial technology platform that supports the processing and settlement of international securities transactions.

You’ll work on a business-critical application used to manage financial transactions across global markets, collaborating with experienced engineers and contributing to solutions where performance, reliability, and scalability really matter.

Design, develop, and enhance robust, high-performance applications using Java and modern backend technologies.

Contribute to a global financial platform supporting securities trading, transaction processing, settlement, and reporting.

Build and integrate REST APIs, improve existing functionality, and tackle complex technical challenges.

Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams to shape technical solutions, share knowledge, and maintain high coding standards.

Take part in the full development lifecycle, from solution design and automated testing to deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Skills and Expertise

5+ years of hands-on Java development experience with strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.

Experience with React is a significant advantage, especially if you enjoy contributing to both backend and frontend development.

Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and building scalable, reliable applications.

Good SQL skills and experience with relational databases, ideally MS SQL Server or Sybase.

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile development, combined with a collaborative mindset and good problem-solving skills.
