Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Java Developer to modernize a critical government information system. You will lead upgrades across Java/Python components on Windows-based VMware and coordinate with security and infrastructure teams.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI Poly, Java/Python proficiency, Oracle 19c integration, and SAP BI familiarity, with a focus on secure coding and minimal disruption.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise Java application development and a proven track record of upgrading complex software infrastructures in secure, regulated environments. The role involves planning and executing upgrades across the technology stack, including Apache Solr with ZooKeeper, Apache Tomcat, Apache Directory Studio, and Java/Python components running on Windows-based VMware infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Oracle 19c database integration, SAP Business Intelligence reporting frameworks, secure coding practices, and upgrading and migrating Solr index data is essential. Experience with PrimeFaces UI framework is a plus. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless upgrades with minimal operational disruption.
