Job summary

Incedo Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer / Lead Java Developer to design and deliver scalable enterprise applications leveraging Flowable BPM, Spring Boot, and microservices.

You will guide a development team, implement complex workflows, and ensure secure, robust backend services for banking systems. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture discussions, and align with Agile practices while integrating with Kafka, databases, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 11/17/21 and Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with Flowable BPM and BPMN/CMMN/DMN.
• REST APIs and Microservices development experience.
• Hibernate/JPA proficiency.
• Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

Job Summary

Incedo is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer / Lead Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Flowable BPM to design and develop scalable enterprise applications and workflow-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will lead the development of business process automation, integrate workflow engines with banking applications, and mentor development teams while following Agile best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Develop and implement business workflows using Flowable BPM (BPMN, CMMN, DMN).
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external banking systems.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and product owners to gather requirements and implement workflow solutions.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Integrate applications with Kafka, databases, and cloud services.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with banking security, governance, and regulatory standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 11/17/21.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
• Strong hands-on experience with Flowable BPM (Process Engine, BPMN, User Tasks, Service Tasks, Workflow Automation).
• Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and OOP concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Flowable Forms, Decision Tables (DMN), and Case Management (CMMN).
• Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Familiarity with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.
