Job description

We are seeking an experienced Flowable Engineer to design, develop, and optimize BPMN-based workflow solutions using the Flowable platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Flowable Engine, Java, Spring Boot, REST integrations, and business process automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop BPMN 2.0 workflows using Flowable
• Implement business processes using Java and Spring Boot
• Configure service tasks, Java delegates, listeners, and workflow integrations
• Integrate Flowable with external systems through REST APIs
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into workflow solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize workflow execution
• Improve workflow performance and process efficiency
• Collaborate with business and technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with BPMN 2.0 workflow design
• Hands-on experience with Flowable Engine and APIs (RuntimeService, TaskService)
• Strong programming skills in Core Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with REST API development and integrations
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Java Delegates and Service Tasks

Functional Skills

• Business process analysis and workflow design
• Requirement gathering and BPMN translation
• Troubleshooting and process optimization
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
