Qualifications

• Hands‑on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, Spring Cloud.
• Design and development of Microservices‑based architectures and REST APIs.
• Relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server; SQL proficiency and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube; CI/CD; Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Rate : $70/hr
Salary $110K
The pay range for this role is $110K Max per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong hands‑on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot Microservices, and database development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable, high‑performance enterprise applications. Experience with Azure Cloud technologies is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Required Technical Skills

Core Java

• Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, OOP concepts, Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, Exception Handling, JVM, and Performance Tuning.
• Experience with Java 8+ features including Streams, Lambda Expressions, and Functional Programming.

Spring Ecosystem

Hands‑on expertise with:

• Spring Boot
• Spring MVC
• Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
• Spring Security
• Spring Cloud

Microservices

• Design and development of Microservices‑based architectures.
• REST API design and implementation.
• Service communication patterns, resiliency, fault tolerance, and distributed system concepts.

Databases

Strong experience with relational databases such as:

• o Oracle
• o SQL Server
• Expertise in SQL, schema design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

DevOps & Tools

• Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Exposure to API Gateway and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of security best practices and OAuth/JWT authentication.
  

Azure Cloud (Nice to Have)

Exposure to Azure services such as:

• o Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• o Azure Functions
• o Azure Service Bus
• o Azure App Services
