The role emphasizes enterprise Java expertise, Curam framework mastery, and strong communication. You will participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to backlog grooming, and help improve payment accuracy

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise Java development experience.
• Hands-on IBM Curam framework experience (rules, SPM, batch).
• ReactJS and modern front-end development.
• Understanding of SNAP/FNS workflows (preferred).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform business and systems analysis, requirements modeling, and technical design for NC FAST modules.
• Develop, test, and maintain application components using Java, ReactJS, and IBM Curam.
• Implement enhancements and resolve defects based on FNS backlog requests.
• Support FNS payment accuracy initiatives including evidence automation, case approvals, and QC alert workflows.
• Develop Curam rulesets, batch processes, interfaces, and program logic for SNAP/FNS.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, business analysts, QA testers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and documentation.
• Work with release management for source control, build, and deployment activities.
• Ensure compliance with NC FAST architecture standards and best practices.
