TRIMAH TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a Lead Java Backend Developer to join our onsite team in Columbus, OH. You will guide the design and implementation of scalable backends on Google Cloud Platform, balancing hands-on coding with technical leadership for a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience focusing on backend systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of Java (11+) and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security).
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cloud Spanner).
• Proven hands-on experience architectural design and deployment within GCP.
• Proficiency with core GCP services including messaging (Pub/Sub) and operations (Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architectural direction of Java backend microservices.
• Drive GCP cloud strategy for cost efficiency and high availability.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and workshops.
• Write clean, maintainable Java code (11/17+) and Spring Boot.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Optimize performance, latency, and memory usage.
• Deploy and manage applications in GCP using containers and orchestration tools.
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security to enforce cloud security best practices.
