Job summary

PTR Global in Columbus, OH is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design and develop scalable systems using Java and React. This onsite, 6-month engagement focuses on producing secure production code, architecture artifacts, and data-driven improvements across product teams.

The role requires 5–6 years of hands-on experience with Java, React, and AWS, plus familiarity with CI/CD, SDLC, and cloud-based practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on practical experience in system design, development, testing and operational stability.
• Proficient in coding in Java languages.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc).
• Expertise in React and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Participates in design and development of scalable systems using Java.
• Execute software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain relevant algorithms.
• Contribute to architecture and design artifacts while meeting design constraints.
• Gather and analyze data to visualize and report for continuous improvement.
• Identify patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Engage with engineering communities and events exploring new technologies.
