Galent in Dallas, TX is seeking a Java Backend Developer to build and maintain enterprise-grade backend services. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices to design scalable RESTful APIs and integrate SQL/NoSQL databases.

Join a collaborative Agile team, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and production support, while applying strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills to ensure reliability and observability across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering/IS.
• 4–9 years of enterprise backend development experience.
• Hands-on Java, Spring, and Spring Boot for server-side apps and REST APIs.
• Experience with microservices and API design.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases; NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra) familiarity.
• Experience with Kafka/JMS/RabbitMQ messaging.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and web services.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, and testing with JUnit/Mockito.
• Cloud development experience and production triage; Agile teamwork.
