Job summary

Sonar is seeking a Software Engineer (Java) to join the Platform Team supporting SonarQube's on-premises platform. You will build and enhance critical backend services that enable seamless installation, upgrades, scalable operation, and reliable delivery of SonarQube for a global customer base.

This role combines Java backend development, system architecture, databases, performance optimization, automated testing, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance core backend services for SonarQube's on-premises platform.
• Design and implement robust backend solutions using Java, Spring, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Ensure platform stability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with development squads to guide CI/CD, testing, and packaging.
• Take ownership of complex initiatives from inception through production.
