Job summary

TiltEdge Solutions LLC seeks a Senior Java Backend Developer to join the Phoenix team onsite. You will design and implement scalable backend services using Java, Spring and Spring Boot, with strong emphasis on REST APIs, data storage and CI/CD pipelines.

Required 8+ years of experience, mentoring others, and ability to work through complex technical requirements in a fast-paced FinTech environment in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on backend development with Java, Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience building scalable, distributed and low-latency enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and API lifecycles.
• Hands-on with Spring Batch, JUnit, JDBC, Gradle/Maven, Jenkins and CI/CD.
• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming tech; Kafka Streams preferred.
• Understanding of distributed systems, caching, high availability, multithreading and performance.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB and other databases.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub and deployment automation.
• Strong automated testing, secure coding and CI practices.
• Ability to work through complex requirements; strong communication.
• Experience mentoring engineers while remaining hands-on.
