Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced software professional to design and deliver Java/Spring Boot microservices in a Jersey City-based team. You will leverage AWS services, Kubernetes, and IaC to build scalable solutions, participate in the full SDLC, and collaborate with frontend and operations to accelerate delivery.

The role emphasizes strong technical skills, cross-team collaboration, and the ability to triage complex issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software development.
Strong experience in building Java/Spring Boot microservices.
Experience with AWS services related to microservices (EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, networking, security).
Knowledge of React front-end concepts and integration with microservices.
Experience with SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), Kubernetes/Docker, automated testing and deployment frameworks.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools to triage issues.
Strong technical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop Java/Spring Boot microservices and integrate with front-end components.
Leverage AWS services across EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and more.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation; manage Kubernetes and Docker environments.
Monitor, triage, and resolve microservices issues using observability tools.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to accelerate delivery.
