Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Java AWS Developer to lead architecture, design, and delivery of highly available enterprise solutions. The role requires expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, and microservices, with hands-on experience in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

You will mentor teams, own technical decisions, and drive cloud-native development across multiple locations in the US, including Riverwoods, Frisco, Richmond, and New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Lead architecture, design, and technical decisions.
• Develop microservices and REST APIs with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Build cloud-native solutions on AWS and implement IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Lead application architecture and technical decision-making.
• Design and develop microservices, REST APIs, and secure applications with OAuth2.
• Deploy and support cloud-native solutions on AWS; implement IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive containerization with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift; develop event-driven systems with Kafka/Kinesis.
• Oversee database design and performance (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, NoSQL).
• Mentor teams, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders.
