Qualifications

• 15+ years of Java development experience.
• Deep Core Java skills including multi-threading, concurrency, collections, and JVM tuning.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
• Proficiency in cloud-based SOA and microservices design (AWS or Azure).
• Life insurance domain experience (policy administration, annuities, underwriting, claims, billing, or similar).
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• B.Tech / B.E. (4 years) degree.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture, integration patterns, and technical standards for cloud-based, service-oriented applications.
• Design and build microservices and REST/SOAP services using Spring Boot.
• Lead the full SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, and release.
• Mentor developers, run code reviews, and be the technical escalation point for the team.
• Support production systems, including root cause analysis and performance tuning.
• Work with business stakeholders and product owners to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Communicate progress and technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
