Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 9+ years in hands-on application development with Java in distributed systems.
• Strong OO programming and design patterns.
• Experience with web/backend, microservices, cloud concepts, TDD, and DDD.
• Strong SQL and relational databases; design and troubleshoot large-scale systems.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior hands-on developer across multiple complex application initiatives.
• Lead technical analysis, design, development, and maintenance of software applications and components.
• Provide advanced expertise in troubleshooting complex application, system, and performance issues.
• Design, implement, and support system enhancements, refactoring, and modernization efforts.
• Research, evaluate, and implement solutions for performance monitoring and scalability.
• Drive automated test suites and QA practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and delivery strategy for complex projects.
• Accurately estimate effort, identify risks, and plan milestones.
• Mentor associate and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to achieve objectives.
• Promote best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement.
