Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement Java-based APIs and microservices. The role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership in a hybrid San Antonio environment, requiring 1-2 days on-site weekly.

You'll work with modern Java frameworks, Kubernetes, RESTful services, and CI/CD tooling to deliver scalable solutions. A Secret-level security clearance will be processed; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Nine years in Software Engineering with modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Guava).
• Experience designing enterprise APIs and RESTful services.
• Hybrid work with 1–2 days per week in our San Antonio, TX office.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers; lead engineering initiatives as needed.
• Assume other duties as assigned and contribute to a fast-paced, small business environment.
