Job summary

Centraprise in Pittsburgh seeks an experienced Senior Java/J2EE engineer to lead a team of developers. You will design and deploy RESTful and SOAP services using Spring Boot and microservices, ensure API security with OAuth/JWT, and drive cloud deployments with Docker/Kubernetes on AWS.

Qualifications

8–10+ years of Java/J2EE software development with technical leadership.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices.
Designing RESTful and SOAP web services with Swagger/OpenAPI.
SQL and NoSQL databases with design and query optimization.
Cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Lead, mentor and provide technical guidance to a developer team.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
Architect and implement robust RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Oversee API integration with internal and third-party systems and data sources.
Drive CI/CD with Jenkins and GitHub, and manage cloud deployments (AWS).
Collaborate with product managers and architects to translate requirements into designs.
