Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer for a large, multi‑discipline development program supporting Entitlement Programs, IdAM/ICAM, authentication, and policy management. You will join a team of developers and data engineers to modernize, secure, and reliably operate IT systems in a cloud environment.

• Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficient with Java, Spring Boot, Angular (Typescript), and cloud/AWS.
• Experience reading and translating customer requirements into solutions.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, Git, Jenkins, Selenium, and RH Linux.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize legacy applications.
• Develop and unit test new features and APIs.
• Write scripts to install and configure code on EC2 instances.
• Leverage Amazon Web Services to build scalable solutions.
• Create RESTful APIs and integrate with Elasticsearch.
• Develop Java and Angular (Typescript) components.
• Apply custom ETL methodologies for data processing.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and document work.
