Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Full Stack developer (Java/Angular) to join SSA's Digital Modernization effort. On-site in Woodlawn, MD, five days a week, you will help build next-generation APIs and responsive interfaces, mentoring teams and delivering mission-critical software.

The role demands strong Java/Angular, Spring Boot, REST API expertise, experience with microservices and DevOps practices, and a proactive, leadership mindset to support public service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Angular development.
• 10+ years of experience with programming and designing software with Java.
• 8+ years on an Agile development team, preferably SAFe.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications using Twelve-Factor App methodology with Angular, Java, REST API and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to understand needs.
• Attend all Agile ceremonies.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot, Java and RESTful architecture.
• Work with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
