Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Software Developer to join our Ashburn, VA team. This role requires local presence with onsite work one day per week. The candidate will develop Java-based applications, work with relational databases, and contribute to REST/SOAP services and UI components, in an Agile setting.

Citizenship is required for the contract, and the role favors candidates who are local to the Ashburn office. Hybrid location supports collaboration while enabling some remote work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java development experience (Java 8+).
• Experience with relational databases and SQL querying.
• Experience with Spring or Angular frameworks.
• Web services development experience (SOAP/REST).
• Experience in UI development.
• Experience writing automated unit tests.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS.
• Experience working on an Agile team.
