Job summary

Allianz Life is seeking a senior actuary to lead the development, pricing, and strategic direction of Indexed Universal Life (IUL) products in the U.S. You will act as an expert on IUL mechanics, pricing, and actuarial modeling, reporting to a senior Product Development leader.

You will design and refine IUL structures, build pricing models, and set key assumptions while collaborating with Investments, Underwriting, and Reinsurers to ensure competitive and sustainable design parameters.

Qualifications

• 11+ years actuarial experience in life product development including IUL.
• Degree in actuarial science or related field; FSA preferred.
• Strong modeling and pricing expertise with SNFL, 7702, AG 49.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine Indexed Universal Life (IUL) products and pricing.
• Build and validate pricing models using advanced actuarial techniques.
• Set mortality, persistency, expenses, and index crediting assumptions.
• Collaborate with Investments, Underwriting, and Reinsurance on risk and strategy.
• Guide product positioning, regulatory compliance, and profitability analysis.
