Job summary

Moffatt & Nichol is seeking a Senior ITS / Transportation Associate to join our Lake Mary, FL office. You will lead ITS design efforts, coordinate with FDOT and local agencies, and integrate new devices and systems for complex waterfront and transportation projects.

The role requires extensive experience in ITS, SunGuide, and transportation technology, with travel as needed within Florida. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil, transportation, electrical or related engineering field.
• Minimum of 20 years’ experience in ITS design.
• Minimum of 10 years working with Traffic Management Software such as SunGuide for FDOT/local agencies.
• Knowledge of ITS standards and software packages.
• Experience with managing maintenance contracts and ITS networks.

Responsibilities

• Research technology solutions related to ITS systems to improve safety, maintenance and operations.
• Research software packages that improve ITS operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to integrate new devices and systems.
• Provide 24/7 support for the ITS program related to construction activities.
• Attend design, maintenance, and construction meetings as necessary.
• Document concepts and requirements for ITS systems and devices.
