Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader for Traffic/ITS in San Antonio, TX. The role requires a Texas PE license and a track record of leading traffic engineering studies, ITS design, and signal design projects. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and maintain strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, a PE license, and proficiency with Synchro/SimTraffic, MicroStation, ORD, Civil 3D, and MS Office. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required or ABET-accredited equivalent.
• 10+ years delivering traffic engineering studies, traffic signal design, and ITS projects.
• 2+ years of project management experience including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Texas PE license required; PTOE and IMSA Level II preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage professional staff and project teams on multiple ITS/Traffic projects.
• Ensure milestones, budgets, and client specifications are met.
• Provide technical leadership in design, analysis, and problem solving.
• Mentor team members to support professional growth.
