Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Section Manager within its Digital Infrastructure Solutions department. You will lead the discipline section, manage budgets and staffing, and drive project delivery with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with other departments, and help implement the firm's SSA and SDA processes while pursuing new work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years in leadership.
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, monitors and manages the section's operating budget.
• Manages discipline-specific engineering section staffing and development.
• Supports firm strategy, SSA, and SDA processes on projects.
• Leads staff recruitment, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Oversees project scope, schedule, budget and quality management.
