Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Section Manager in the Digital Infrastructure Solutions group in Overland Park, KS, to lead a technical discipline and deliver complex infrastructure projects.

You will manage budgets, staffing, mentoring, and coordination with other offices, while pursuing SSA/contracting initiatives and ensuring high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the section budget and forecasts.
• Leads discipline-specific engineering section, staffing to jobs and staff development.
• Supports strategic plans, SSA process, and contracting workflows (SCA).
• Oversees SDA processes including work planning and project reviews to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Leads client discovery, proposals, interviews and win-to-work activities.
