Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Section Manager in its Digital Infrastructure Solutions department in the United States. The role focuses on growing ITS, Data Science and Technology practices and leading a technical discipline section.

You will manage budgets, staffing, and project delivery while mentoring staff and coordinating with other sections to ensure high-quality work and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Lead ITS section with multi-person engineering teams.
• Develop and monitor the section budget and forecast.
• Mentor staff, coordinate hiring and development.
• Support SSA and SDA processes in project pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of 5–10+ employees, providing coaching and direction.
• Oversees project scope, schedule, and quality management.
• Coordinates staffing, priorities and resource allocation.
• Ensures client satisfaction through delivery excellence.
• Participates in marketing, client discovery and proposals.
