Job summary

F5 seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager for TechOps Transformation to lead a multi-year program transforming a large hybrid estate to a modern architecture and operating model.

The role drives cross-functional initiatives across infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, application modernization, automation and AI-enabled operations with executive visibility. Strong collaboration with security, resilience and enterprise architecture teams is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in technical program management or similar role.
• Proven track record leading large, multi-year IT transformation programs with executive visibility.
• Certifications: PMP, PgMP, SAFe, ITIL or equivalent; cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead an enterprise IT transformation program across platform/infrastructure, migration and applications, and operations transformation.
• Convert strategy and architecture into executable roadmaps with milestones, dependencies and success metrics.
• Drive infrastructure modernization including end-of-life refreshes and cloud migrations.
• Run application migration and portfolio rationalization at scale with defined decision processes.
• Embed automation, IaC and AI into the operating model and enable self-service platforms.
• Ensure resilience and security are designed into the target state (Zero Trust, HA/DR/backup).
• Govern, measure and report value with baselines and benefits realization.
• Align stakeholders and manage onshore, offshore and third-party delivery.
• Lead organizational change and adoption with clear communication and enablement.
