Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the US-FL-Home area to lead complex IT and network projects with multiple vendors. The role serves as the single point of contact for client communications, coordinates cross-functional teams, and oversees delivery within contract terms, budget, and schedules.

You will manage project scope across phases, ensure PM methodologies are followed, and handle SLAs, KPIs, QA, incident management, and telecom services deployment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 10 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a Florida State background check.
• Experience managing complex, multi-phase IT and network service projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project with detailed, up-to-date documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of E-Rate, USF, and compliance driven delivery requirements.
• Knowledge of CPE deployment, circuit provisioning, and site migrations.
• Understanding of enterprise WAN architecture (MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewalls, NOC/SOC).
• Experience managing large programs over $30M with multiple vendors/suppliers.
• Certification (PMP, Scrum Master, CompTIA Project+, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent).
• Experience with public sector government contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Contractor and the client for all project-related activities.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects within contract terms, budget, and schedule.
• Direct and coordinate contractor staff and resources for timely project execution.
• Lead or participate in workgroups or committees as required.
• Maintain frequent project updates using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
• Ensure all phases follow established PM methodologies and best practices.
• Oversee SLAs, KPIs, QA, and incident management procedures.
• Deliver telecom and infrastructure services (MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewall, CPE deployment).
• Manage agency-specific customization, onboarding and migration timelines.
