Job summary

Magnolia Oil & Gas Corporation seeks a Senior IT Systems Engineer to design, administer, and troubleshoot core infrastructure across Azure, Microsoft 365, on-premises and cloud environments. You will contribute to secure, reliable IT services in a fast-paced, 24x7 setting.

The role covers AD, storage, backups, virtualization, networking, and AI/Copilot support while focusing on security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on infrastructure support across Windows/Linux, on-premise and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure services, security controls, and network fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure support across servers, AD, storage, backups, virtualization, and other critical systems.
• Support enterprise networking services including LAN/WAN, DNS/DHCP, VPN, and firewall concepts.
• Administer Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot, identity and access management, and cloud security controls.
• Assist with security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation activities.
• Document changes, incidents, and procedures; collaborate with cross-functional teams; escalate as needed.
