Job summary
NEW Water seeks an experienced IT Systems & Cybersecurity Engineer to lead enterprise infrastructure and safeguard critical utility systems. You will balance proactive cyber defense, datacenter administration, and project leadership to ensure continuous availability and resiliency.
Ideal candidates have 6+ years in designing and administering enterprise systems, networks, and modern datacenters with strong cybersecurity governance. Wisconsin license and relevant certifications are valued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years designing, developing and administering enterprise systems and networks.
- Strong background in cybersecurity governance and policy execution.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license; relevant certifications valued.
Responsibilities
- Architect and administer infrastructure across servers, virtualization, multi-site networks, and cloud systems.
- Lead cybersecurity and disaster recovery, monitor anomalies, patch management, incident response, and DR architectures.
- Drive technology strategy with infrastructure rollouts, upgrades, procurement, and budgeting.
