Job summary

Ardent Health in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Senior IT Systems Analyst to lead development, configuration, and support for Beacon hospital system apps. The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS, 4+ years in IT or clinical systems, and Epic Beacon certification; additional Epic certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and report generation with Beacon metrics.
• Epic Beacon certification required. Additional certifications in Epic Research or Epic Ambulatory also appreciated.
• Knowledge of build of therapy/treatment plans and protocols.
• Proven ability to translate business issues into application solutions.
• Strong understanding of application technology and system design.
• Basic project management skills (lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Senior IT Systems Analyst is responsible for the development, configuration, continuous improvement and support for hospital system applications, primarily Beacon. The analyst will routinely perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data, and technical documents associated with the application area. The analyst will design, build, test, install and maintain solutions related to assigned applications.

• 3+ years of experience working within Information Technology implementing and supporting applications
• Experience working in a healthcare environment, particularly medical oncology.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and regulatory requirements in applicable clinical area.
