Job summary
City of Homestead is seeking an IT System Analyst to design, implement, and support the City’s management information systems and departmental technology solutions. The role involves guiding projects from concept through deployment while ensuring security, performance, and operational needs are met.
The analyst will configure and troubleshoot enterprise software and infrastructure, support ERP modules, manage patching and lifecycle planning, and collaborate with departments to optimize processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in computer support or related technical roles.
- Experience supporting network and desktop OS: Windows, SCCM, AD, Group Policy, Office 365.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking and enterprise environments.
- Experience with virtualization, cloud apps, and cloud management platforms.
- Must have valid Florida driver's license and pass background check.
Responsibilities
- Confers with City departments to determine technical requirements and develop system solutions.
- Tests, debugs, and validates programs and configurations.
- Provides comprehensive application and infrastructure support for enterprise systems.
- Oversee backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Collaborates to analyze business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoots complex issues across network, server, and application domains.
