Lakeland Care Plus Technology Division seeks an IT Senior Systems Administrator to lead infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security operations. You will design secure, scalable systems, ensure compliance, and mentor staff while driving enterprise-grade outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in systems engineering with networking, cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure.
• Proven ability to design, execute, and maintain enterprise-grade systems with documentation and compliance.
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, Microsoft 365 administration.
• Networking: firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs, secure remote access.
• Virtualization: VMware vSphere design, lifecycle management, backup and recovery.
• Cloud architecture: Azure landing zones, hybrid identity, governance, AWS fundamentals.
• Data platform support: SQL and data-heavy applications with HA/DR and access controls.
• Scripting and automation: PowerShell, Python, infrastructure automation.
• Logging and observability: Sentinel, Log Analytics.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Security+, or comparable credentials.
• Current driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes for infrastructure, networking, cloud and security initiatives.
• Design secure, scalable systems and ensure compliance.
• Document configurations, procedures, and architectures.
• Provide after-hours and emergency support as needed.
• Mentor other technical staff and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve service reliability.
