Job summary

Lakeland Industries is seeking an experienced IT Operations Analyst (Systems Administrator) to support and maintain our IT infrastructure across multiple global locations. The role focuses on administration, security, performance, and reliability of enterprise systems, with hands-on responsibility across Microsoft technologies, virtualization, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud administration.

Qualifications

5–10 years of progressively responsible experience as a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Administrator.
Strong experience administering Active Directory, including GPOs and security groups.
Extensive experience with Windows Server, Windows desktop OS, and Exchange Online.
Experience with Azure/Entra ID, M365, and SharePoint Online.
Experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter and Veeam backup/recovery.
Experience configuring firewalls, switches, VPNs, and disaster recovery.
Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and monitoring practices.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and support Windows server infrastructure across global locations.
Provide proactive technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure, network, and systems issues.
Manage Active Directory, OUs, user/computer accounts, GPOs, and security groups.
Administer Azure/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online environments.
Configure SharePoint Online and Teams; support collaboration technologies.
Manage VMware vSphere and vCenter; deploy, patch, monitor, and plan capacity.
Administer backup and DR solutions (Veeam) and SAN storage environments.
Support network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and remote sites.
Monitor infrastructure health, performance, security, and availability.
Apply cybersecurity best practices and assist in DR planning/testing.
Provide Tier III end-user support and mentor junior staff.
Coordinate with desktop, infrastructure, vendors, and MSPs to resolve issues.
Participate in IT planning, upgrades, migrations, and global initiatives.
Maintain documentation and SOPs; participate in after-hours/on-call work.
