Job summary

Staffing Agency Recruitment is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for a pharmaceutical company in Ayer, MA. You will provide technical leadership and oversee IT infrastructure across multiple Massachusetts locations.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and expertise in Windows Server, AD/Entra ID, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, backups, DR, and security practices. Travel between MA sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems administration experience in pharma/biotech IT environments.
• Strong Windows Server and virtualization experience.
• Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and network infrastructure.
• Administer Active Directory/Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Manage enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and data protection systems.
• Maintain patching, firmware updates, and endpoint compliance.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Manage user access, privileged access controls, security policies, and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and managed-service providers.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other Systems Administrators.
• Support and train employees on company IT systems.
