Job summary

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will oversee the Office of Information Technology, managing networks, information systems, data security, and user support to ensure IT and security objectives are achieved.

This role requires strong strategic planning, regulatory awareness, and leadership to guide teams, advocate for innovative solutions, and collaborate with executive leadership on priority initiatives.

Experience in government IT and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred in computer science or information technology).
  • At least two years of managerial or program/staff leadership experience.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience at the 15 level or above within the computer information field preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to develop creative solutions and lead teams.
  • CISA, PMP, or CISSP certificates desired.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and management of the Office of Information Technology.
  • Ensure IT and information security objectives are met and supported.
  • Advocate positions, communicate ideas, and collaborate with teams to achieve common objectives.
